Generally I like to draw in my moleskine.  Moleskines are convenient, they go anywhere.  I got a Mead Academie sketchbook last week or so which has slightly textured paper.  I draw in that sometimes.  Today I picked up a couple drawing/writing journals at Barnes and Noble that have unique paper; textured, colored.  One of them I swear smells like a barn (in a good way), like Hay or Wool.  It actually smells just like my Wool Sweater that I bought while in Ireland.  Like a barn.  MMMMmm.  Yummy.  But I won’t draw in it until I finish the drawing I started last night.  :)

I recently mentioned the mini colored pencils from Barnes and Noble that come in a little CD case.  Last night I did a test with both of the cd-case-sized ones and decided they are the same.  I did a test in the Mead Academie Sketchbook that I got, and also, of course, my Moleskine.  Here is a scan of the test…

… "small" being the ones on the right, and "larger" being the ones on the left in this picture-

ALSO, while I was not able to find these cd-case-sized items online, I did find that BN does have some of it’s art supplies online here.

Barnes and Noble has a bunch of cool, portable art supplies.  I love their little colored pencils that come in the CD case.  Today I got the water colors to try.

I actually took a lot of pix of what they have at BN and will uplod them in a minute they are here:
