I am glad to see someone else who had trouble with coloured pencils in the moleskine. I have two in different sizes, with only a few pages filled. I don’t like them at all, but I find it a waste to leave them blank. I won’t buy them again.

Hi, yeah, some days I hate the paper in the moleskine and other days I like it. Sometimes I feel it’s too smooth and I don’t like the yellow. But when I use other sketch pads that have a more proper drawing paper, I find that the pencil lead smudges a lot and that drives me nuts. What I like about the moleskine is that it’s small enough to always be in my purse, making it much easier for me to draw more often. While I wish it had different paper, the fact that it’s with me all the time and allows me to draw more, that’s what I like best about it.
