OFF TOPIC:
Have you turned off your land line and now use cell phone only? If so, have you been satisfied since doing this? I’ve considered doing this but worry that turning off the land line will result in all the telemarketing calls coming to my cell phone, which I don’t want. If you’ve done this, leave a comment here or email me to let me know what you think. Thanks!

My dd and sil use cell phones only and they don’t have any problems. Here is the website for the National Do Not Call list where you can register to be removed from phone solicitation (it works! I did it last summer)

We rarely use our land line any more. We even thought of getting rid of it last month when we moved. And all of the telemarketing calls come only to the land line. But we decided to keep it. Our cellphones are for private and business calls. Everything else goes to the land line where we hava an answering machine. So we aren´t bothered by any calls any more. Also people we don´t want to give our phone number, but who insist on it, get the number for our land line.
BTW: Thanks for commenting on my blog.
