I recently drew my "favorite item" which is EDM challenge #6 ("everyday matters"), a "toothy toad" hinged storage box I got off ebay several years ago. The first try is here. I was unhappy w/ it, so I wanted to do it again, but to improve my eye, I wanted to try doing pieces of it. EDM link 1, link 2. So tonight I finished this:

your toad drawing has a lot of character, energy and originality. i love the ‘pieces’ approach, it’s a very interesting composition, and I like your first try too
