Drawn 1998.
With the new scanner I got today, I have re-scanned the House I drew in 1998. The filename is "housetor" because I saw the house in a Toronto newspaper. I’ll delete the old post w/ the old scan. Here’s the text from the original post:
I’ve been into drawing all my life. As a youngster I remember drawing animals and clouds… then later on drawing unicorns and horses and rainbows. But even by the age of 11 I was drawing houses with a ruler, with the dream of becoming an architect (I didn’t). I designed houses and copied houses, even at 11 years old. I lost everything I owned shortly after that (long story) and so I have nothing to show you from then. When I was about 17 I started drawing houses again, drafting-style. I’m sure I have those drawings but they are deep in a box in a garage somewhere. In 1998 [when I was about 28] I did another house drawing, this one-
While waiting for my good scanner to get fixed, *ahem*, I picked up a $79 small scanner at Office Max today. I even found my original artwork up in the computer room, so now I can rescan my "from the archives" stuff! The new scanner is a small scanner w/ no power cord, it’s powered by USB and is so tiny I can stow it anywhere. I’m so psyched that I can now re-scan in all my older drawings.
UPDATE: I just scanned in a bunch of stuff, so stay tuned for new entries. Not sure how much I’ll get uploaded tonight.

Drawn Nov. 2006.
I moved around a lot growing up. I often obsess and/or dream about homes I lived in as a child. So I started drawing them in my Moleskine. "H1" stands for "House 1" in my series of homes-I-lived-in drawings. Drawn from memory. This was a rather large house, I drew it too short (lengthwise) by accident.
I drew this around 1998. I was inspired, LOL. If I remember right, I drew the outline and then colored it in using Photoshop.
